Artwork Guidelines

Follow these simple rules and your print will come out exactly as you designed it.

File format

Print-ready PDF is best. We also accept high-resolution JPG and PNG files.

Resolution

300dpi at actual print size. Images pulled from websites (72dpi) will print blurry - if it looks pixelated on screen when zoomed in, it will print that way.

Bleed

Add 3mm bleed on all sides. If your design has colour or images running to the edge, extend them 3mm beyond the trim line so there are no white edges after cutting.

Safe zone

Keep all text and important content at least 3mm inside the trim edge so nothing gets clipped.

Colour

Design in CMYK, not RGB. RGB colours can shift when converted for print - bright greens and blues are most affected.

Fonts

Embed or outline all fonts before exporting your PDF.

Not sure your file is print-ready?

Do not risk it - our design team can check and fix your artwork, or create it from scratch. See our Design Service page.
